As a Senior Infrastructure Administrator, Systems, you will help operate, maintain, and secure mission-critical Linux infrastructure supporting cyber operations. This role is focused on the day-to-day administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and sustainment of systems that support Detection-as-Code, cyber tooling, data pipelines, and operational environments. You will manage Linux-based systems, support containerized and virtualized environments, troubleshoot production issues, maintain system security baselines, and help ensure reliable platform performance for mission users. You will work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, platform, and customer stakeholders to support system availability, hardening, automation, and operational readiness. This role requires a hands-on administrator who is comfortable working in secure environments, supporting production systems, automating repeatable tasks, and resolving infrastructure issues quickly and effectively.

Requirements

  • 10+ years with a Master's degree OR 18+ years with Bachelors degree
  • Experience with systems administration, infrastructure, or production operations experience
  • Hands-on Linux administration experience, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Ability to troubleshoot production performance, server, OS, application, and environment issues
  • Bash scripting skills for automation, system checks, log review, and repeatable admin tasks
  • Python scripting ability for system automation, tooling, or operational support
  • Experience supporting containerized and virtualized environments such as Docker, VMware, Kubernetes, and Ansible
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Suricata and Zeek
  • Experience working with logging, monitoring, or analytics tools such as Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana
  • Familiarity with network devices, network troubleshooting, and basic routing/switching concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Secret clearance required

Nice To Haves

  • Security+, CCNA, CCDE, or other IAT Level I or higher certification
  • Experience supporting DoD, cyber, mission, or secure government environments
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, or compliance-driven operations
  • Understanding of operational support, change management, incident response, and project lifecycle processes
  • Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other scaled Agile delivery frameworks; this program operates within a SAFe ART structure
  • Ability to work across infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software teams
  • Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt as mission and business needs evolve

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and secure mission-critical Linux infrastructure supporting cyber operations.
