About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Senior Information Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by driving system improvement initiatives, including upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance activities, and process optimization. You will also evaluate existing and potential technical solutions in collaboration with others, and lead projects to enhance and maintain systems that support regulatory compliance across the EHS, Product Stewardship, and Research and Development spaces. This role involves collaborating with compliance experts, business stakeholders, IT teams, and software vendors to develop, implement, and improve system solutions that meet evolving regulatory and operational needs. You will translate business and regulatory requirements into system enhancements, functional specifications, and implementation plans, while mentoring and leading internal resources on projects and new technologies. Managing stakeholder relationships and project communications is key to ensure alignment, visibility, and user readiness for system changes. You will gather, prioritize, and manage user requests related to system enhancements, functionality improvements, and compliance-driven changes. Analyzing system issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating corrective actions to maintain system reliability, performance, and usability are also important aspects of this role. Partnering with IT teams to support system integrations, data flows, testing, release activities, and long-term solution planning, as well as supporting software enhancement and upgrade efforts in partnership with external vendors and internal technical teams, are crucial. Staying informed on industry best practices and trends in compliance systems, application support, and systems management to drive continuous improvement, and contributing to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of cloud administration and development experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Five (5) years of full tech stack development experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
