The role of Program Manager (internally known as Influencer Marketing Account Manager) is a key client-facing position requiring leadership, accountability, business acumen, and vision. The Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams in executing projects to ensure program delivery and enhance client experience, while balancing the needs of the client, company, and team. A successful Program Manager is a collaborative leader, driven, organized, detail-oriented, excels in program management, communicates effectively at all levels, and is adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in account, project or program management, agency experience preferred.
  • Heavily people-oriented: effective relationship-building skills; ability to cultivate strong partnerships across functions to bring people together toward common goals and consensus.
  • Strong and effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in leading/facilitating cross-functional team meetings to achieve common results.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills; ability to troubleshoot issues, juggle multiple programs, and prioritize accordingly.
  • High energy and flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment.
  • Excellent technical skills – Google Sheets/Excel, Timeline Tracking (Asana preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and be available to commute to the San Francisco office 3 times per week.

Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end execution of influencer marketing programs, from strategic planning through creative execution, delivery, and implementation.
  • Managing program schedules and deliverables.
  • Pro-actively communicating expectations and milestones to all cross-functional team members.
  • Responsible for program management of complex projects and initiatives (status, process improvements, etc) in support of delivering excellent Client experiences.
  • Quarterbacking project schedule planning and execution.
  • Updating reports and proactively communicating program status to key stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle in weekly status meetings.
  • Spearheading project pipeline planning and proactively balancing project loading with cross-functional bandwidth to ensure adequate resourcing of committed timelines.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in conducting hand-offs for successful execution and post mortem reviews to gather and communicate key takeaways for continuous improvement.
  • Identifying improvement projects and leading implementation of program management tools (Asana) and processes (internal and Client).
  • Routing creative to influencers and clients, ensuring feedback is clear, actionable, and revisions are received on time.
  • Identifying program risks early on and convening cross-functional partners to align/mitigate solutions.
  • Monitoring and advocating processes; identifying gaps/improvements to work more efficiently.
  • Demonstrating ownership/investment in the work; having a clear understanding of business goals and internal culture.
  • Guiding the client seamlessly through the process while also keeping them accountable to the joint success.
