Under direction of facility leadership, the Senior Maintenance Technician performs all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all buildings and grounds and all plant machinery and equipment. This role requires adherence to safety programs and standards, diagnostic evaluation of equipment, and timely repairs to maintain operational readiness. Responsibilities include routine, preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a variety of machinery such as Autoclave process equipment, air pollution control devices, pumps, hydraulic systems, fire tube boilers, electrical generator systems, pneumatic systems, and plumbing. The technician will also perform light electrical maintenance, PLC and robotics troubleshooting, fabrication including welding, and assist the Facility/Maintenance Manager. Documentation through work orders or a CMMS is required, along with maintaining current safety training and participating in on-call duties for emergency repairs. Ordering parts/supplies and inventory management are also key aspects of the role, along with proficiency in computer programs like Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
