About The Position

AllPro Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Hygienist to join their growing team in Reno, NV. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who wants to contribute to building a company rather than being a small part of a large organization. The role involves taking the lead in fieldwork, expanding the client base, and strengthening relationships with existing clients. The company is strategically transitioning from residential work towards commercial, municipal, and government projects, and the individual in this role will be instrumental in driving this shift. Requirements

  • BS in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience with a solid foundation in Industrial Hygiene consulting.
  • Asbestos certifications and consulting licenses (SST or CAC) for California and Nevada, or equivalent asbestos license from your state.
  • EPA Lead Inspector or Assessor certification and/or California Inspector/Risk Assessor is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proven track record with field work, reporting and project management.
  • Strong technical writing, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience (or willingness to learn) Project management software, Microsoft office products, Adobe & Dropbox.
  • Experienced with XRF with safety training certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to provide your own vehicle.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and provide official transcripts and references.
  • Willingness to relocate to Reno (relocation reimbursement may be offered at the hiring managers discretion).
  • Some vehicle and air travel is required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits, sample collection, and industrial hygiene assessments.
  • Manage projects across Washoe County, Northern Nevada, Northern California, Las Vegas and Arizona.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings to clients.
  • Assist with client acquisition and development, with a focus on growing commercial, municipal, and government work and contributing to AllPro’s continued growth.
  • Lead fieldwork and reporting for asbestos, mold, lead-based paint, fire contamination assessments and IH exposure assessments.
