About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Fire Protection Field Technician to join our team. This role involves extensive national travel, working on various oil and gas terminal sites. The technician will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of foam deluge systems, deluge and pre-action sprinkler systems, and associated industrial valves and pump rooms. This is a non-union position with paid travel time and private hotel rooms provided.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, servicing, and inspecting wet systems (Foam / Deluge) required.
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.
• Show up promptly to scheduled daily appointments ready to work.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Nice To Haves

• NICET II preferred

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of foam deluge systems (AFFF / AR-AFFF)
• Servicing deluge & pre-action sprinkler systems
• Working with industrial valves, trim, and pump rooms
• Coordination with detection and control teams
