About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Fire Protection Field Technician to join our team. This role involves approximately 90% national travel, working on various oil and gas terminal sites. You will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of foam deluge systems, deluge and pre-action sprinkler systems, industrial valves, and pump rooms. This is a non-union position with a competitive hourly pay rate and a significant sign-on bonus structure.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, servicing, and inspecting wet systems (Foam / Deluge) required
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team
• Must have mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required

Nice To Haves

• NICET II preferred

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of foam deluge systems (AFFF / AR-AFFF)
• Servicing and testing of deluge & pre-action sprinkler systems
• Working with industrial valves, trim, and pump rooms
• Coordination with detection and control teams
• Working alone and as part of a team
• Operating a computer, tablet and reading electronic blueprints
• Showing up promptly to scheduled daily appointments ready to work
