Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering or related field and 4 years experience in the job offered or in an Industrial Engineer-related occupation.
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Industrial Engineer-related occupation.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining supply chain and logistics processes for a variety of warehousing and distribution center operations.
  • Conduct special projects to achieve improved methods, optimize process flow to facilitate efficient put-away, order fulfillment, shipping, and space utilization.
  • Perform a detailed review of existing distribution center practices, examining workflows, operational efficiency, any bottlenecks, equipment usage, layout, labor, and the technology being used.
  • Use AutoCAD to draft proposed layouts for the distribution center, incorporating optimized workflows, storage configurations, and equipment placement.
  • Developing standardized operating procedures for process implementations/changes and time studies to support the same.
  • Project Management Experience to coordinate projects with the Supplier supporting the Operations team.
  • Supporting and running continuous improvement and lean principles, such as reducing waste, streamlining processes, and optimizing resource use.
  • Use prior experience of running Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity for processes in the Operations.
