Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations with a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum 3 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

Certification or practical knowledge in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and process optimization principles
Proficiency in DraftSight, AutoCAD, or equivalent software
Problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills
Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across functions

Responsibilities

Analyze production workflows, facility layouts, and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and productivity.
Develop, maintain, and optimize labor standards, routings, and work instructions.
Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, line balancing, and ergonomic assessments.
Identify waste, non-value-added activities, and improvement opportunities; implement corrective actions.
Create and maintain value stream maps, process flow diagrams, and standard work documentation.
Lead employee training and mentor team members on process improvements and standard work.
Design and optimize factory layouts using DraftSight or AutoCAD to enhance production flow.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and methodologies.
