This role involves analyzing machining and assembly processes to design the best method of manufacture to safely produce a quality product on time. It also includes collaborating with teams in quality, operations, materials, and development departments for resolution of issues and root cause analysis, maintaining labor routings and operator worker allocations, and planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays. The position also requires performing work measurements to support operations in improving health, safety, and performance of staff, and evaluating data and writing reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Additionally, the role involves preparing and presenting charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 years of industrial engineering experience or 9 years industrial engineering experience.

  • Excellent knowledge in routing design and related transaction codes within SAP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical ability where problems are very complex.
  • Excellent knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Excellent knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Toyota Production System (or equivalent) concepts.
  • SAP Experience.

Responsibilities
