About The Position

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to provide Automation & System Integration engineering services in the manufacturing & power generation industries. This role involves programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), configuring network switches, developing logic diagrams and electrical drawings, and configuring Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs). The position also includes conducting technical reviews of drawings and device settings. A remote/hybrid work option may be considered for highly experienced candidates.

Requirements

• BSEE, BSEET or MSEE preferred; BSME, BSMET or other degrees with significant heavy industrial controls and automation background will be considered
• 4+ years direct experience in industrial automation or process control or combination of education and experience
• P.E. preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Commitment to quality and accuracy
• Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules
• Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Rockwell, GE & Emerson PLC's and HMI preferred
