About The Position

As a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst, you will support tax reporting, compliance, and analysis activities that help maintain accurate filings and strong financial controls across the organization. You will work closely with Tax, Accounting, Finance, Legal, and internal business partners to research issues, prepare supporting documentation, and improve processes. Your work helps Fiserv meet regulatory obligations, reduce risk, and maintain accurate tax records.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in indirect tax and/or similar discipline
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Co-Pilot)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP/billing systems
  • Knowledge of indirect tax software solutions such as Vertex, Sovos, or similar tools

Responsibilities

  • Support indirect tax, and other recurring tax processes within established deadlines.
  • Prepare and review tax workpapers, filings, and support documentation for state and local tax requirements.
  • Analyze financial data, general ledger activity, and source documentation to support tax reporting, account reconciliations, audit, incentives and compliance activities.
  • Assist with tax audits, notices, and information requests by preparing responses, organizing records, and tracking deliverables.
  • Research tax laws, regulations, and technical guidance to support filing positions and resolve tax questions.
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and other internal teams to gather information, validate data, and address tax-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, strengthen documentation, and enhance accuracy through stronger controls and standardization.
