About The Position

Our Sage Intacct team is seeking an experienced Senior Implementation Consultant to lead complex Sage Intacct implementations and help clients maximize the value of their technology investment. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor and functional subject-matter expert, guiding clients through business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and transition to support. You will translate complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions; advise clients on best-practice process design and system optimization; and lead project teams toward successful business outcomes. You will also collaborate with Consulting, Project Management, Customer Support, Client Experience, Sales, and technical resources to ensure successful delivery, strengthen client relationships, support pre-sales activities, and continuously improve our implementation methodology.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of ERP implementation or technology consulting experience, including significant client-facing responsibility and experience leading full implementations.
  • Demonstrated success leading at least ten complete Sage Intacct Core implementations from discovery through go-live.
  • Recognized subject-matter expertise in Sage Intacct Core Financials and complex multi-entity configuration.
  • Advanced functional knowledge across multiple Sage Intacct modules, reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and operational processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, consolidations, budgeting, financial reporting, workflow management, and data migration.
  • Proven ability to gather and document requirements, map business processes, conduct gap analysis, and translate client needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Demonstrated skill in stakeholder management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and change management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive, operational, financial, and technical audiences.
  • Experience mentoring consultants and leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Sage Intacct certifications strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct Marketplace solutions, business intelligence tools, integrations, or advanced reporting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex Sage Intacct implementations across multiple modules, entities, locations, or business units from discovery through go-live and transition to support.
  • Facilitate discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with executive, financial, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Understand each client's objectives, challenges, requirements, and success criteria and translate them into clear solution designs, configuration plans, workflows, functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Analyze current-state business processes and advise clients on future-state processes using Sage Intacct capabilities, industry practices, and implementation best practices.
  • Configure Sage Intacct Core Financials and related modules, including complex multi-entity environments.
  • Guide clients through solution decisions involving process design, configuration versus customization, integrations, data migration, reporting, security, and workflow management.
  • Lead testing, validation, client training, change management, go-live readiness, and post-go-live transition activities.
  • Manage assigned project deliverables against contractual scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations in partnership with the Project Manager, when one is assigned.
  • Proactively identify, document, and communicate project risks, dependencies, scope changes, and decisions requiring client or internal action.
  • Establish clear expectations and confidently navigate difficult conversations, competing priorities, conflicting requirements, and complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • Build trusted client relationships and provide strategic guidance that supports solution adoption, measurable business improvement, and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Define requirements for integrations, custom functions, data migrations, dashboards, advanced reporting, and other technical components in collaboration with technical resources.
  • Coordinate with the client and internal teams to ensure a complete and effective handoff to Customer Support.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including discovery, solution design, project estimates, scoping, and Statement of Work development.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to expand or optimize their use of Sage Intacct and related solutions.
  • Mentor consultants and other team members through project guidance, knowledge sharing, coaching, and review of implementation deliverables.
