About The Position

SS&C is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant to join the Investment Management (IM) Implementations team responsible for front-office components of the Genesis Platform, including Eze OMS and Genesis Portfolio Management. This role requires an organized individual capable of coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders, communicating with project managers, and consulting on solutions to best fit clients’ business use cases. The ideal candidate enjoys working with financial technology, is a knowledgeable product expert, and thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment. Implementation Consultants are integral to SS&C’s implementation projects, involved in everything from post-sales project design to client requirement delivery. Collaboration is key to ensuring onboarding requirements are understood and implemented as planned, ultimately driving client satisfaction through effective project execution. Consultants are also responsible for creating effective, scalable, and supportable configurations through testing and analysis of workflows based on initial requirement gathering. The role involves developing and applying best practices to continuously improve team effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of professional experience in either a financial services or technology onboarding role preferred
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills; must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
Must have analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills to set internal and external expectations
Usage of AI tools for process automation and productivity enhancement
Working knowledge of relational databases, Windows server environments and experience learning new technical tools.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales and Implementation Architects to understand client workflows and define Order Management and Portfolio Management requirements
Own the configuration and testing of front-office solutions, with a focus on core Order Management, Portfolio Management, and related integrations
Manage functional delivery across multiple concurrent client implementations
Collaborate with team members across all aspects of Genesis Platform implementations, from documenting business requirements to defining system configurations and integration requirements, while providing backup coverage as needed
Configure client workflows based on approved functional requirements and implementation best practices
Coordinate user acceptance testing, track readiness, and resolve issues affecting delivery
Lead OMS and Portfolio Management training for Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations teams, and other user groups
Coordinate with clients, third parties, Project Managers, and specialist teams, including FIX, API, and Compliance
Communicate functional status, risks, dependencies, and required decisions to relevant stakeholders
Support onsite and remote go-live events, triage post-launch issues, and prepare clients for transition to ongoing support
Document client configurations, workflows, and customizations to support effective knowledge transfer
Use AI and automation tools responsibly to reduce manual effort, improve implementation workflows, and accelerate delivery
Build investment management expertise through engagement with asset managers, RIAs, wealth managers, and pension funds
