The Senior ID&C Asset Engineer will serve as the technical asset engineer for assigned ID&C systems, including instrumentation, data acquisition, facility controls, and associated hardware/software interfaces. This role involves maintaining awareness of asset condition, operational readiness, obsolescence, reliability issues, maintenance needs, and modernization priorities. The engineer will develop and prioritize lifecycle sustainment, repair, replacement, and upgrade requirements in coordination with various internal and external organizations. Key duties include establishing and maintaining technical baselines, supporting test planning and execution, identifying and mitigating technical risks, leading troubleshooting efforts, reviewing modifications, and communicating asset status and requirements. The position also supports the development of long-range plans for ID&C modernization and sustainment.
