Senior ICT / Technology Consultant - Portland, OR
About The Position
Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Senior ICT / Technology Consultant to lead and manage Information and Communications Technology (ICT) projects from concept to completion. The role focuses on designing, executing, and managing ICT projects, building client relationships, mentoring team members, and supporting growth and innovation. The consultant advises clients on technology systems for new construction and renovation projects and contributes to telecommunications, audiovisual, and security design. The position is remote or hybrid, and candidates must be located in and eligible to work in the United States.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) credential.
- A strong sense of ownership in projects and standards.
- Excellent technical competency and communication skills.
- A proven track record in one of the technology design fields.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
- Must be located in and eligible to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Technology industry certifications such as OSP, DCDC, PSP, CTS, PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead project execution for all aspects of ICT project design.
- Consult with clients on technology systems design for new construction and renovation projects.
- Mentor designers in security, telecommunications, and audiovisual design through presentations and project guidance.
- Prepare Division 27 and Division 28 specifications, construction documentation, and basis of design reports.
- Provide construction administration support, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
- Conduct quality-control reviews, uphold quality-assurance standards, and contribute to improving company design standards and documentation.
