About The Position

We are looking for an IBM i / WebSmart Developer to support and extend business-critical applications running on their IBM i environment. This role will maintain existing IBM i applications while working in WebSmart to deliver modern, web-based interfaces on top of legacy systems. You'll work closely with internal IT and business stakeholders to keep core systems reliable while pushing them toward a more modern footprint.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM i systems
Experience with WebSmart for web application development
RPG/RPGLE and CL programming experience
Experience with DB2 for i
Strong troubleshooting skills in a production support environment
Experience in environmental services, waste management, or a similarly regulated industry
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications on IBM i (AS/400)
Design and build web-based interfaces and applications using WebSmart
Support integration between legacy IBM i systems and modern web front-ends
Diagnose and resolve production issues
Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Participate in occasional onsite visits/travel as needed for project or team work
