About The Position

The EPCIS Analyst manages the electronic exchange of serialization data for our 3PL distribution. In this role, you will analyze client EPCIS data, build integration components in IBM Sterling B2Bi, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure uninterrupted file flow of serialization data. You will be working with the EDI team to ensure that implementation processes are cohesive between EDI and EPCIS implementations. You will serve as a bridge between clients and the application team, monitoring data transitions into our serialization systems. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, expertise in X12/EDIFACT, EPCIS standards, knowledge of DSCSA requirements, and hands-on experience with Sterling Integrator mapping.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in EDI analysis and support.
  • 3+ years of specialized experience with EPCIS and DSCSA standards to support pharmaceutical traceability.
  • Strong understanding of VANs and secure communication protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP).
  • 5+ years of experience with EDI software, particularly IBM Sterling Integrator, B2Bi.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to understand BPs, write complex maps, setup communications and configure new setups in Sterling Integrator, B2Bi.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor and analyze EPCIS transactions for errors and exceptions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EPCIS issues with trading partners, including data mapping discrepancies, communication errors, and system failures.
  • Develop and maintain translation maps and processes using Sterling Integrator.
  • Create, maintain communication with customers and clients as needed.
  • Test and validate EPCIS transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with business rules.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders on EPCIS-related issues.
  • Create, maintain documentation of EPCIS processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Stay current on GS1 standards, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Participate in EDI and EPCIS projects and initiatives, including system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics.
