About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to direct and support the design and implementation of site characterization efforts, analyze data, and develop conceptual models that advance projects through site investigation, remedial evaluation, and toward closure. The role establishes client and project needs and develops and leads teams to address data needs, evaluate available information, and deliver projects. Work balances hydrogeologic evaluation, project scoping and proposal development, and report writing and review. The position supports a range of environmental projects, with an emphasis on mining projects. It involves representing Arcadis in client discussions and planning hydrogeologic investigations, including aquifer parameter estimation, groundwater-surface water interaction evaluation, groundwater fate and transport evaluation, groundwater modeling, and conceptual site model development. The Senior Hydrogeologist directs teams preparing work planning documents and data summary reports, works with multidisciplinary teams across geographies, mentors mid-level staff, and supports project and account growth by identifying technical solutions and developing teams. The role is primarily office-based, with field assignments and travel of up to 10%. Arcadis follows a hybrid work structure, with work remotely and from the office based on project and client team demands. The role supports a growing mining practice and a variety of environmental projects across diverse market sectors.
