About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to direct and support the design and implementation of site characterization efforts, analyze data, and develop conceptual models that advance projects through site investigation, remedial evaluation, and toward closure. The role helps establish client and project needs and develops and leads teams to address data needs, evaluate available information, and deliver projects that exceed client expectations. Work includes hydrogeologic evaluation, project scoping and proposal development, and report writing and review, with an emphasis on mining projects. The position applies technical expertise to environmental projects and represents Arcadis in client discussions. It is responsible for planning hydrogeologic investigations, including aquifer parameter estimation, groundwater-surface water interaction evaluation, groundwater fate and transport evaluation, analytical and/or numerical groundwater modeling, and conceptual site model development. The Senior Hydrogeologist also directs teams preparing work-planning documents and data-summary reports, and collaborates with project teams across technical disciplines and geographies. Additional duties include team building, mentoring mid-level staff, and supporting project and account growth by identifying technical solutions and developing teams to address project needs. The role is primarily office-based, with field assignments and travel up to 10%.
