About The Position
ACS Air Conditioning Specialist is actively seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Covington, Georgia. We are looking for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, leadership qualities, and the ability to independently handle residential and light commercial service calls. Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of HVAC service technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience servicing residential HVAC systems independently
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong customer communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly skilled technically

Nice To Haves
- Light commercial HVAC experience
- Experience with heat pumps, split systems, package units, and gas furnaces
- NATE Certification preferred but not required
- Leadership or senior technician experience
- Experience mentoring junior technicians
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform advanced service diagnostics on air conditioning, heat pump, furnace, and ventilation systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Accurately identify repair needs and communicate solutions to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism on every service call
- Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
- Assist in mentoring junior technicians when needed
- Work closely with dispatch and management to maintain daily operational efficiency
- Recommend repair and replacement solutions when appropriate
