About The Position

Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This position is based at their Raleigh, NC facility. Relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or communications, compensation / benefits, talent acquisition, talent management / organizational effectiveness
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in psychology, business administration or human resources
  • 2 years of HR experience in a plant or operations environment
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders independently
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic and tactical human resources activities, implementations, projects, integration items, events and processes for the Richmond operations facilities.
  • Guide, mentor and coach operations leaders regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements as well as Eaton policies, practices, aspirational goals and leadership attributes.
  • Coach and influence leaders to improve leader effectiveness, positively impact workplace culture and make Eaton an employer of choice.
  • Advocate, voice concerns and transparently share employee feedback with operations leaders through listening channels and facilitation of upward feedback discussions.
  • Lead staffing and talent acquisition plans to align to business outcomes.
  • Ensure effective training and communication processes and programs to meet current and future organizational needs.
  • Coordinate disability claims, leaves of absences, and workers compensation claims with HR Services, their party administrator and other stakeholders as needed.
