About The Position

The Senior HR Business Technology Analyst provides planning, project execution and management of the talent systems and associated data analytics, while ensuring effective and efficient systems' processes and procedures that meet current and future business needs for a high-performing and engaged workforce. Executes day-to-day system administration and maintenance services, and ensures the proper functioning of all aspects of talent management systems. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated system issues, works with stakeholders to formulate and convey requirements to the vendor, and tests applications when implementing changes, system enhancements or upgrades. Ensures system security and employee data privacy. Serves as a liaison between the Enterprise business stakeholders and the HR Team on technical and functional support related to use of the system. Coordinates and leads meetings with involved parties as appropriate. Proactively provides best practice recommendations, training, expert-level application support and data to improve and support business processes for the system. Manages projects related to the system, including development, communication of requirements and specifications and analytics. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible to make an established range of decisions, escalating to Manager when necessary and updating Manager on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Or commensurate selection criteria experience. - Required
  • Demonstrated experience taking complex technical concepts such as databases, table-driven code and testing tools, analytics tools, new technological concepts and applying to business needs. - Required
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency assessing, analyzing, developing, writing, training others and communicating business requirements/specifications for projects. Must be able to cite examples from work experience in testing software packages giving details of development and execution of test plans. - Required
  • Proven experience in safeguarding confidential data and ensuring security integrity. - Required
  • Proven project management experience in leading, planning, executing and maintaining a project from start to finish. Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. - Required
  • Proven knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in Human Resources, and a knowledge and use of talent or learning management systems and analytics. -
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including demonstrated work experience on identifying, quantifying and providing creative solutions to complex problems. Proven experience working independently identifying and resolving problems utilizing independent decision-making and initiative. -
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience successfully interpreting and communicating business needs between internal groups and external vendors in a clear, focused and concise manner. Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and manage work effectively in a team environment, which includes sharing knowledge and resources. Must be able to easily grasp and communicate complex ideas. -
  • Proficient in a Human Capital Management (HCM) or other business software; proficiency in e-Learning authoring tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Business Intelligence (BI) tools. -
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. -

Nice To Haves

  • At least five years of experience in business analysis, implementation, or a similar technical role. Two years of talent management or learning management systems experience preferred. - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Talent and Learning Management Systems: Ensures all users/administrators have access to systems at all times, at the appropriate level of security role. Controls security access and creates and maintains security profiles, grants security rights to users. Leads the LMS Administrators Workgroup/Community. Manages system releases, new feature analysis and adoption and presents findings and recommendations to appropriate governance teams for approval. Leads implementations of platform enhancements and new features. Works with module administrators and HR partners to configure modules, plan, implement, test, roll out and provide support for the talent management system. Creates and provides training tools as needed, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, online courses, etc. Collaborates with internal and external clients, vendors and the IT Department to determine best practice solutions for the talent management system. Identifies opportunities for business, and process improvement and optimization; makes recommendations and implements as appropriate. Works with vendor and IT Department to address support issues and questions. Serves as liaison to talent management vendors. Serve as an internal escalation resource for troubleshooting and managing enhancement release process, including testing, migration to production, reporting and supporting administrators, and end users with training. Attends vendor events and participates in vendor-client communities. Leads projects that introduce new training programs and initiatives to the organization. Develops, recommends and implements custom automated training delivery processes and methods. Consults with training partners on publishing online training that meets business requirements and creates long-term value for the learner. Implements quality assessment and evaluations for learning programs. Works with training partners to design, implement and maintain a centrally governed LMS framework capable of supporting multiple coordinators while meeting unique corporate and subsidiary requirements and short- and long-term organizational goals. Serves as the organization's subject matter expert for the LMS and related tools, emerging technology, e‑learning publishing software and methods, LMS integrations, including content solutions, SSO and AICC. Shares findings with HR leaders, business partners and training leaders, and works as a key resource to implement value-add solutions.
  • Analytics: Ensures appropriate custom/ad hoc reporting needs are met. Works with team to configure and execute scheduled and ad hoc reports, runs error reports/audits related to HRIS interfaces, and ensures corrections are made in a timely manner. Researches the causes of any data integrity issues and resolves them independently. Conducts regular reports/audits of business processes and provides metrics to the appropriate individuals. Utilizes Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data and metrics that will meet and enhance current information needs for the HR Department and helps to proactively improve response to HR trends internally and externally.
