About The Position

FYI - For Your Information, Inc. (FYI) is seeking a Senior HR Specialist to provide administrative and technical support in Federal workforce relations areas, including employee relations, labor relations, and performance management. This role involves researching policies, providing guidance, supporting audits, managing records, and preparing training materials. The specialist will also support the headquarters Awards Program and employee recognition ceremonies. Requirements

  • 10 years of experience supporting Federal employee relations, labor relations, performance management, awards, or related workforce programs.
  • Knowledge of Federal HR policies, regulations, records management, and administrative processes.
  • Experience supporting audits, maintaining ER records, developing SOPs and training materials, and tracking program deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, charts, graphs, and data analysis.
  • Strong research, writing, organization, communication, and project-coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and technical support across Federal workforce relations areas (employee relations, labor relations, performance management).
  • Research workforce relations policies, regulations, business processes, and program requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support in administering employee and labor relations policies and programs.
  • Support internal and external Employee Relations audits and reviews.
  • Manage Employee Relations records, requests for information, document collection, inquiries, and correspondence.
  • Provide high-level administrative support, including scheduling, meeting logistics, deliverable tracking, document review, electronic filing, and project coordination.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for administrative functions, workload management, deliverable tracking, and business processes.
  • Collect workforce relations data and prepare basic aggregated analyses using spreadsheets, databases, formulas, charts, and graphs.
  • Prepare training materials for government employees on procedures, policies, processes, and Federal regulations.
  • Support the headquarters Awards Program by reviewing and processing awards.
  • Assist the Awards Program Manager with program administration, employee recognition activities, and awards ceremonies.
  • Support the planning, review, programming, logistics, and execution of employee recognition ceremonies.
  • Prepare Employee Relations documents, responses, research, archival materials, reports, and other program documentation.
  • Perform data entry, project tracking, administrative actions, audit support, and other Employee Relations program support as needed.
