About The Position

As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute Human Resources (HR) strategies to support leadership in the achievement of business objectives. You will provide executive-level HR consultation, consult and execute on various HR cyclical activities (Pay Planning, Succession Planning, Performance Review, etc.), coordinate with COEs and other specialists to execute strategy within your assigned client base, and work collaboratively across parts of BV leadership within the business and HR. As a Senior HR Partner at BV, you will be part of a critical and forward-thinking group that enables our people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible by providing creative solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years progressive HR experience in one or more functional areas
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field; Human Resources preferred; Master’s degree preferred
  • Ability to mentor and develop HR team members to elevate capability and effectiveness
  • Extensive knowledge of domestic employment law and compliance issues (local, state and federal, such as Fair Labor Standards Act, Wage & Hour)
  • Ability to flex style to engage effectively with global workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of HR programs, policies and procedures
  • Understanding of Human Resource Information System(s)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)
  • Ability to manage several projects of functional areas concurrently
  • Strong human relations skills (written, verbal, client service)
  • Strong conceptual planning ability
  • Business acumen and ability to understand business metrics and financials
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft, including PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership consultation and support for assigned client base, including workforce planning, staffing consultation, training, development, and skill enhancement, succession planning, organization design, performance management, culture assessment and development, employee relations & coaching, and compensation administration.
  • Identify critical HR goals and factors for success; is responsible for executing related actions.
  • Cultivate a partnering relationship with top line leaders.
  • Consult and provide insights to leaders.
  • Advise management on HR Policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Act as liaison between division and HR functional areas.
  • Perform role as change agent for implementing new HR programs and/or processes.
  • Develop and execute communication plans.
  • Advise management and professionals on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures, seeking to ensure compliance and understanding of HR policies.
  • Analyze and provide advice to management on methods and approaches to resolve issues.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and development support to HR Partners to strengthen overall team performance.
  • Champion change management initiatives and drive alignment of HR processes across global teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and adoption.
