About The Position

This Senior HR Generalist position is a full-time, salaried role, based onsite in Kansas City, MO. The role is responsible for supporting the Campus Director, HR in administering policies and programs related to change management, employment law, employee relations, labor law, labor relations, organizational development, salary administration, performance management, training, recruitment, and other HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in human resources knowledge and/or experience.
  • Expert knowledge in HR management concepts with a strong consultative and results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of employment and labor law.
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferred.
  • Exposure to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related technical industries, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and directs the establishment of policies, procedures, plans, and programs for staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee talent development, training, HR information systems, and payroll systems to meet the site’s business plan and competitive strategy in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensures alignment of HR policies, procedures, plans, programs, and budgets with those of Catalent.
  • Establishes and maintains effective and credible relationships with both management and employees.
  • Works closely with line management to provide support, planning, and problem-solving.
  • Fosters open communication with business partners and the employee population.
  • Provides counsel to managers and employees on human resources issues, organization structure, and development.
  • Provides general human resources services to respective business partners and the employee population, answering HR-related inquiries.
  • Develops training and development plans to meet regulatory compliance while focusing on building critical skills and competencies for present and future jobs.
  • Ensures implementation and administration of the succession planning program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
