Position Summary The Senior HR Generalist leads core HR programs and processes that support the employee lifecycle, employee experience, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations, employee relations administration, onboarding and offboarding, engagement initiatives, internal employee communications, benefits coordination, reporting and talent processes. Partnering closely with HR leadership and business leaders, this position ensures HR programs are implemented effectively, managers and employees receive timely support, and processes remain compliant, organized, and scalable. The role requires a strong service mindset and a commitment to responsive, compassionate, and trustworthy support.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices across employee relations, performance management, onboarding and offboarding, engagement, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including preparing reports, dashboards, trackers, and presentations to support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and AI-enabled tools, particularly for data analysis, reporting, presentation development, and routine HR operations.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience preferred, with broad exposure to employee relations, HR operations, talent processes, compliance, communications, and program administration.
  • Experience supporting managers and employees (both hybrid and remote) in a generalist, business partner, or HR operations role strongly preferred.
  • Experience administering performance management, onboarding and offboarding, engagement initiatives, reporting, and HR process documentation required.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP a plus.
  • Proven ability to provide practical HR guidance, execute programs with accuracy and professionalism, and support a positive employee experience through responsive service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR programs across talent management, employee engagement, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations. Including employee training.
  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely, professional support on HR questions and routine requests.
  • Manage routine employee relations matters, including performance concerns, attendance issues, policy interpretation, complaints, corrective action documentation, and termination coordination.
  • Administer HR processes such as performance reviews, goal tracking, succession planning documentation, employee surveys, reporting, and follow-up tracking.
  • Own onboarding and offboarding, including orientation, first 90-days experience, manager tools, feedback loops, and retirement logistics.
  • Draft and distribute employee communications, including employee announcements, leader toolkits, and change materials.
  • Maintain HR records, documentation, policies, HRIS data and process governance to support compliance and operational consistency.
  • Coordinate benefits-related support, leave and accommodation administration, return-to-work processes, and open enrollment in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Manage intern program logistics with recruiting and business leaders.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentation materials, incorporating analytics and AI tools to support HR operations, reporting, and program execution.
  • Partner with HR leadership on talent, engagement, and workforce initiatives through data, documentation, coordination, and execution support.
