Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and senior coach to executive and senior leadership teams, guiding them through high-stakes decision-making, complex leadership dynamics, and the pursuit of strategic deliverables.
  • Lead organisational design, succession planning, and change across academic and/or professional portfolios.
  • Translate business data into predictive workforce insights, forecasting talent needs, managing pipeline risks, and building an agile, future-ready workforce suited for growth, realignments, or shifting organisational realities.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters within an Enterprise Agreement (EA) environment.
  • Partner with leaders and specialised ER teams to navigate industrial landscapes, mitigate risk, and champion constructive workplace relations.
  • Play a key role on broader HR and university wide transformation projects.
  • Bring fresh external insights, industry benchmarks, and progressive thought leadership to shape and deliver enterprise strategy.
  • Role-model the adoption of AI tools and process optimisation.
  • Challenge legacy thinking with "outside-the-box" solutions that elevate HR service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Actively mentor and coach HR Business Partners and HR Advisors, elevating overall capability and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the HR function.
