About The Position

The Senior HR Business Partner helps drive the Animal Nutrition plant health and performance by delivering solutions to complex people processes. Key areas include people and culture strategy, engagement, workforce planning, compliance and investigations, and performance & talent development. This role provides day-to-day guidance, developmental support, and thought partnership. Additionally, the role will work with HRBP team, COEs, and key stakeholders to advise, drive strategy, influence client groups on issues involving but not limited to people strategy, employee relations, organizational development and leadership, and analyzes metrics to provide solutions etc. A critical member of the POD leadership team, this role also connects with HR colleagues supporting the Animal Nutrition and Health across US and Canada, to learn, share and foster alignment.

Requirements

Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work.
Experience using HRIS/time & attendance systems and basic dashboards to inform decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience with Talent Acquisition activities (full cycle hiring process).

Nice To Haves

Proven previous working experience as HR Business Partner within plant-based environment/ organizations.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
Experience independently handling employee relations matters, including intake, documentation, and triage of complaints and leading investigations and consulting corrective action processes.
Ability to interact frequently with frontline employees and respond to urgent people issues.

Responsibilities

Partners to develop and implement complex solutions to improve performance, engagement, recruiting and retention to increase productivity and mitigate people risks while also building an inclusive culture.
Deploys workforce plans, learning programs, talent acquisition activities and other talent programs and projects at the location.
Leverages complex reports and dashboards to measure, manage and analyze human resources and business performance metrics at plant locations.
Communicates and adopts complex diversity, equity and inclusion policies and practices in plant locations.
Serves as location lead to drive local deployment of related activities and partners across the teams to best serve the client.
Responds to employee and manager inquiries received on site and identifies themes, triages every day grievance matters, partners with essential teams to investigate serious and sensitive matters and manages on site audits.
Partners with key leaders on the execution of complex local people and culture plans.
Implements complex plant HR operational processes including time and attendance, employee or labor relations, and benefits administration processes to support the overall compliance and effectiveness of the HR operational processes of the plant.
