About The Position

Join Chase Home Lending as a Senior Home Lending Advisor and use your home lending knowledge to serve as customers’ chief point of contact throughout the life of their loans. You will work with a motivated team dedicated to guiding clients toward homeownership, while adhering to regulatory requirements and marketing Chase financial products. You will coach branch team members on products and services, partner with bankers and retail branches to promote mortgage originations, and build relationships with customers as an internal and external mortgage expert. You will collaborate on customer outreach and marketing initiatives and provide consultative recommendations informed by financial analysis, product knowledge, and an understanding of customers’ financial needs and goals.

The role is subject to federal Loan Originator qualification requirements and requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) under the SAFE Act. Employment and continued employment are contingent on satisfying the applicable screening, registration, renewal, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• At least 3 years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
• Knowledge of the local real estate market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
• Satisfy Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements, including the applicable background and financial-responsibility review.
• Register with NMLS under the SAFE Act and maintain compliance with registration, renewal, and update requirements.

Nice To Haves

• FHA/VA sales experience.
• Marketing, promoting, relationship-building, and consulting skills.
• Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor branch team members by providing training on products and services.
• Work with bankers, meet their customers, and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
• Collaborate with the team on customer outreach and marketing efforts, including centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-selling, relocation and statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, and outbound lead sourcing.
• Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in footprint territories and work effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Build a reputation as an internal and external mortgage expert and maintain good customer relationships.
• Provide consultative recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise, product knowledge, and knowledge of customers’ financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase financial products.
• Register with or update registration in NMLS, and comply with applicable SAFE Act registration, renewal, and update requirements.
