About The Position

The Senior Home Care Technician ensures the safe delivery, setup, and use of home medical equipment. This role aids warehouse operations by performing quality assurance checks, equipment repair, equipment cleaning, oxygen transfilling services, receiving and shipping duties. They support the department to maintain high-quality products and services provided by Saint Francis Health System.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid State of Oklahoma Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Report that meets Saint Francis Health System (SFHS) guidelines.
  • Oklahoma Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Department of Transportation (DOT) certification with HazMat endorsement.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software.
  • Sound knowledge of Home Care Equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information.
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Ability to train and mentor others.
  • Sound ability to maintain professional and courteous and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in adynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers medically necessary home medical equipment.
  • Educates patients on proper use of equipment in a home setting.
  • Completes and acquires necessary documentation as required.
  • Performs routine liquid oxygen transfill duties and deliveries.
  • Processes all deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment as required in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Mentors and assists other home care technicians in the performance of duties.
