We have an opening on our San Francisco team for an ambitious, strategic, and dynamic individual with established experience in leading and growing a team. We care passionately about the work we do and the clients we advise. 150 Bond works with the most competitive players in every industry, such as Stripe, TikTok, Wise, as well as the most thoughtful companies at the forefront of tech from AI to blockchain, and venture capital. 150 Bond is a global advisory firm that specialises in storytelling and helping companies grow and scale their business. We are more than your regular comms firm; we work with founders, CEOs and their teams on their most important business opportunities and challenges, from IPOs to global regulation and scaling to new markets. We take a different approach to our team too; we are selective with the clients we work with and believe in staffing accounts strategically. We use our network discretely to help get our clients into the right rooms where they can make meaningful connections that have an impact on their bottom line. This hire will play an integral role in supporting the managing partners’ vision for growing our ambitious and highly professional team in Dublin. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of developing a team and scaling an organisation. The ideal candidate has significant experience in senior comms roles, can juggle competing priorities, deal with multiple stakeholders and maintain excellent client relations without breaking a sweat.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15-20 years of deep experience in the communications industry
  • Project management and agency experience
  • Strategic comms experience across technology and business
  • Ability to pursue new business opportunities.
  • A team player with strong leadership qualities and a proven ability to delegate and manage a team
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Have an interest in the tech topics of today, from AI to blockchain
  • Have a passion and interest in media, messaging, and storytelling
  • International experience

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to 150Bond managing partners and lead clients on behalf of 150Bond
  • Direct key accounts by being a strategic asset and advisor, embedding yourself with clients and anticipating their needs across multiple time zones at a senior level
  • Develop and manage team members in the region
  • Develop and lead business development initiatives and build a strong pipeline of clients
  • Continue to establish deep relationships with media, both traditional and non-traditional. Tell and shape stories, strategies, and narratives on behalf of clients
  • Recruit, train and develop team members
  • Deliver on key operational initiatives from brand development to global strategies for 150Bond
