About The Position

The Financial Analyst, Senior contributes to ThedaCare’s overall financial performance by applying extensive industry and technical knowledge and providing analytical support to evaluate current and future business strategies and outcomes for operational and financial leaders. The role compiles, analyzes, produces, and interprets information for management and financial leaders, and serves as a liaison between the corporate office and operating facilities to translate analysis into actionable insights that support value capture. Responsibilities include management reporting, labor and productivity management, capital planning, and annual budgeting.

The position is remote, with occasional travel to the Neenah office for in-person meetings. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a flexible start time between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or healthcare management.
• Five years of experience in accounting, finance, or decision analysis.
• Ability to move freely, including standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Build successful partnerships with key internal customers and cross-functional teams.
• Understand the healthcare financial environment and monitor market and industry trends in financial and business operations.
• Prepare and review financial analyses, variance reports, and ad hoc reports.
• Perform complex, in-depth analyses to identify financial trends, reporting outcomes, and variances.
• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness with data.
• Perform defined tasks related to preparation of the annual operating budget.
• Prepare and assist with cost reports and other surveys.
• Establish collaborative relationships with finance team members and provide guidance and mentorship to other finance analysts.
• Serve as a ThedaCare resource and expert on financial modeling and processes, and help solve problems for others.
• Support management reporting, labor and productivity management, and capital planning.
