In this role, your primary responsibilities will include: Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety programs, policies, procedures, and standards. Partner with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and occupational health risks. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and workplace inspections to ensure regulatory and company compliance. Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence of injuries, illnesses, and near misses. Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, injury trends, workers' compensation data, and regulatory reporting requirements to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices. Coordinate regulatory inspections and serve as a liaison with health and safety agencies and external stakeholders. Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for teammates, contractors, and leaders. Support emergency preparedness, emergency response planning, and crisis management activities. Facilitate safety committees and engagement initiatives that promote teammate involvement and accountability. Lead projects and initiatives of diverse scope while working independently with limited supervision. Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives that enhance safety performance and operational effectiveness. Utilize advanced analytical and technical problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to existing processes and procedures. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
