About The Position

This individual independently plans and performs moderately-defined responsibilities related to the design and validation of electronic systems, circuits, components, integrated circuitry, equipment, and packaging. Conducts validation and analysis of designs. Evaluates, characterizes, and develops manufacturing solutions for leading edge products using advanced semiconductor processes. Develops pre silicon validation solutions. Interfaces with cross functional teams, including Design, Software/System Engineering, Architecture Development, Business Groups, Customers, and Customer Engineering, to support development and incorporation of test solutions used in production to improve yield, test time, and quality. Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production. Supports hardware design activities and performs board level troubleshooting to identify electrical and functional issues. Performs hardware testing and characterization to evaluate device behavior across specified process, voltage, and operating conditions, and records test and validation results used for engineering evaluation and manufacturing support. Performs testing and analysis related to signal integrity, power integrity, and SERDES interfaces, including support through Python based automation. Acts as a contributor at design reviews and project meetings.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.
