This role involves leading, executing, and coordinating analysis capability development initiatives, with an emphasis on development and validation virtualizations. The engineer will develop and translate DFMEAs into virtual analysis test cases, provide guidance on global regulatory compliance, and develop Bill of Process (BOP) and Bill of Equipment (BOE). Responsibilities include driving the architectural design of innovative Battery cells and controls solutions, leading and coordinating battery charging techniques, identifying gaps in vehicle prognostic health metrics for 12V batteries, and improving prognostic battery detection. The role also requires providing technical expertise to lead DREs, coordinating with lab specialists and vehicle technical leads, documenting and communicating lessons learned, supporting cross-functional work for robust charge strategies, leading battery supplier manufacturing initiatives, leading battery teardowns, and optimizing battery tester algorithms. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with the ability to report to the local office.
