About The Position

Shared Hope International (SHI) is seeking an industrious and entrepreneurial Senior Growth Strategies Manager to join their dynamic Growth Strategies Department. This role reports to the Deputy to the President and is responsible for leading the planning and execution of high-impact local events, cultivating the growth strategies team, and expanding Shared Hope’s reach and influence. The candidate must be a compelling storyteller, able to communicate the mission passionately and accurately across multiple channels to drive community engagement and deepen donor activation. This is a fundraising position that requires a willingness to solicit monetary contributions directly and indirectly. The ideal candidate will also strengthen operational processes that support sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to influence and engage a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in aesthetic graphic design, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Canva and similar sorts of software.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-orientation, and ability to multi-task.
  • Flexible and adaptable style; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical fundraising
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.
  • On occasion, a willingness and ability to put in long hours, evenings, and weekends as needed to accomplish the organizational mission.
  • A sensitivity and concern for women and children in crisis and for the eradication of sexual slavery (previous knowledge of human trafficking helpful but not required; subject matter training will be part of onboarding).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner and project manager for annual and semiannual events, overseeing strategy, sponsorships, planning, execution, and post-event evaluation.
  • Drive measurable growth in event revenue by expanding sponsorships, increasing donor participation, and optimizing event fundraising strategies.
  • Ensure event planning is conducted with a high level of attention to financial and time constraints; work with various timelines and projects which happen simultaneously successfully.
  • Actively build and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and community partners through in-person engagement, meetings, and event presence.
  • Develop and deliver compelling messaging and storytelling across email campaigns, events, community engagement opportunities, social media, and live speaking opportunities to increase awareness and engagement around the mission.
  • Represent Shared Hope at events and in the community as a confident and engaging public speaker.
  • Mentor and support members of the Growth Strategies team, helping to prioritize projects, maintain accountability, and strengthen overall team performance.
  • Regularly identify new funding opportunities, develop review summaries, and actionable strategies to present to the Deputy to the President.
  • Maintain detailed calendars to track deadlines and monitor progress on Growth Strategies functions to ensure seamless execution across multiple concurrent initiatives; provide regular updates to the Growth Strategies team on these efforts.
  • In collaboration with the Deputy to the President, conceptualize and implement strategies with the purpose of generating new name acquisition, new donors and enhance donor cultivation.
  • Measure and monitor result metrics for Growth Strategies and adjust strategies to get the desired result.
  • Take a “lead” or support role as needed on other Growth Strategies team efforts.
