Requirements
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
- 5â8+ years of engineering experience in the aerospace domain, focusing on system software design and development.
- Strong knowledge of software development processes, requirements definition, and software verification.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodology.
- Proficiency with JIRA, TFS, and GitHub for configuration management and version control.
- Excellent teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
- Bilingual in English and French.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Lambda, etc.) is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional Agile team in the development of flight data processing applications, applying software engineering best practices, including coordination with offshore teams.
- Define and manage Ground Station software and infrastructure requirements.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, enforce GitHub governance, and manage sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Define verification procedures and automated test cases to ensure seamless production deployment.
- Collaborate with IT to integrate and deploy applications within the DPHM Ground Station architecture.
- Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings to track program updates and project milestones.
- Provide technical support to operators and aircraft OEMs as needed.
