About The Position

As a Greenskeeper at Suncadia Resort, you will contribute to golf course operations by performing a range of golf course and equipment maintenance activities. This includes mowing greens and maintaining bunkers in the morning so golfers can enjoy the best possible playing conditions. Greenskeepers start very early and typically have their afternoons off. The role involves working as part of a crew and interacting with guests, with golfer activity and golf etiquette given high priority.

Requirements

Available to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
Current valid driver's license.
Previous experience on golf courses.
Successful experience working on a team.
Experience working with heavy equipment.
Ability to communicate well with crew members and crew leaders.
Flexible schedule, service-oriented approach, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
Comfort working in a team and people-oriented environment.
Ability to work very early morning hours.

Responsibilities

Perform golf course maintenance, including mowing, bunker maintenance, and golf course setup.
Complete mowing, bunker maintenance, and other maintenance programs according to written policies and procedures.
Prepare and maintain written records of maintenance and repairs performed on each piece of equipment.
Perform duties safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Prioritize golfer activity and golf etiquette in performing duties.
Become familiar with Suncadia Resort, its outlets, and activities to respond positively to guest inquiries.
