About The Position
The Bainbridge Island Studio of Perkins&Will (McLennan Design Studio) is a collaborative, forward-thinking practice dedicated to regenerative design that restores and elevates the health of the planet. The studio works across architecture, urban design, interiors, sustainability consulting, and industrial design, delivering projects domestically and internationally. The Senior Graphic Designer will create polished work across print and digital mediums while working within corporate brand guidelines and bringing a creative edge to projects. The role calls for strong typography and layout skills, creative thought leadership, collaboration, clear communication, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. The designer will manage multiple projects, deliver quality work on time, and help convert deliverables into accessible templates and resources for colleagues with varied skill levels.
Requirements
- Polished portfolio showcasing creative design skills across print and digital mediums.
- Solid understanding of corporate brand guidelines and ability to work within standards while bringing a creative edge to projects.
- Strong typography and layout skills in print and digital mediums.
- Advanced proficiency in the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CC Libraries.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other video editing software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in designing email campaigns in Mailchimp or similar.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress, and Squarespace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or another related field.
- 6+ years of related experience.
- Impeccable attention to design detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver quality work on time.
- Clear communication and listening skills; openness to constructive criticism and feedback.
- Positive, resourceful attitude, initiative, and strong work ethic.
