About The Position

NAOVI is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following task: Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products. Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests. Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience. Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products. Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online. Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances. Conducts technical quality checks. Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles. Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference Maps.

Requirements

  • BA/BS and 18 years of experience or no degree and 24 years of experience. Masters degree with 10 years experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance.
  • Experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
  • Experience with Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with Photography and video editing.
  • Experience creating graphics products that provide engaging and user-friendly experience.
  • Experience creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
  • Experience developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.
  • Experience ensuring products conform to all production standards, copy-write laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.
  • Experience conducting technical quality checks.
  • Candidates must provide a portfolio of their graphic design experience with resume.
