Senior Grants Accountant and Financial Analyst
About The Position
This role is for a Senior Grants Accountant and Financial Analyst within the Grants and Research Accounting department. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and is remote. The salary range is $79,511.52 - $110,834.59 per year. The role involves analyzing grant budgets, expenditures, projections, variances, and funding utilization to provide financial insights to leadership. The individual will also serve as a consultant to management for decision support and manage financial activities throughout the grant lifecycle, including budgeting, reconciliations, drawdowns, reporting, modifications, and closeout.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Grants accounting experience
- 5+ years accounting experience
Responsibilities
- Analyze grant budgets, expenditures, projections, variances, and funding utilization to provide leadership with clear financial insight.
- Serve as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Manage financial activity across the grant lifecycle, including budgeting, reconciliations, drawdowns, reporting, modifications, and closeout.
