About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Government & Capital Property Manager (Level L) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. This role is vital in managing the company's assets, ensuring compliance with contract provisions, and enhancing property management processes. The position involves close collaboration with engineering and shop personnel to effectively manage property and support ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience or experience leading teams
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience of team building, developing, and motivating employees
  • 5+ years of building stakeholder and customer relationships
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Experience interfacing and dealing directly with government customers
  • Experience using lean principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • A final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working in materials management, warehousing, supply chain or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal development
  • Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Professional certification issues by the National Property Management Association (NPMA)

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees and first-level managers who develop, coordinate and implement property management and control activities.
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
