About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finished Goods Supply Chain, the Senior Global Sourcing Manager is responsible for supply chain activities associated with assigned categories. The role analyzes and implements strategies for supplier identification, sourcing, supplier management, and spend optimization. It also supports new product development and executes inventory management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
At least 6 years of procurement-related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Demonstrated supplier management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the company and with suppliers.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

C.P.M. or C.P.I.M. certification.
Project management experience.
Experience working with overseas suppliers.

Responsibilities

Optimize costs for assigned products, emphasizing cost reduction and margin improvement.
Develop sourcing strategies and multi-year commodity plans to optimize spend.
Oversee activities for assigned spend, from intent to purchase through delivery of the commodity or service.
Recruit, maintain, and manage suppliers, focusing on improving total cost of ownership.
Plan, organize, direct, control, and communicate strategic sourcing activities for assigned spend.
Develop strategies for spend analysis.
Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, terms and conditions, and conformity of items to specifications.
Analyze market and delivery conditions and recommend actions concerning present and future material availability.
Establish and implement countermeasures for negative market trends and missed performance objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Support the new product development process and execute inventory management.
