About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finished Goods Supply Chain, this position is responsible for Supply Chain activities associated with assigned categories. The Global Sourcing Manager analyzes and implements strategies for supplier identification, sourcing, supplier management, and spend optimization. The position supports new product development and executes inventory management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
At least 6 years of procurement-related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Demonstrated supplier management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the company and with suppliers.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Drives continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

C.P.M. or C.P.I.M. certification.
Project management experience.
Experience working with overseas suppliers is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Optimize costs for assigned products, emphasizing cost reduction and margin improvement.
Develop sourcing strategies and multi-year commodity plans to optimize spend.
Oversee management of assigned spend from intent to purchase through delivery of commodities or services.
Recruit, maintain, and manage suppliers, focusing on improving total cost of ownership.
Plan, organize, direct, control, and communicate strategic sourcing activities related to assigned spend.
Develop strategies for spend analysis.
Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, terms and conditions, and conformity of items to specifications.
Analyze market and delivery conditions and recommend actions regarding present and future material availability.
Proactively establish and implement countermeasures to negative market trends and missed performance objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
