About The Position

The Senior GitLab DevOps Engineer will use strong hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD to develop complex CI/CD pipelines using GitLab YAML (.gitlab-ci.yml). The role involves working with Git, scripting languages, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code and automation tools, and integrations with testing, code-quality, security-scanning, and artifact-management tools. The position also calls for familiarity with cloud environments and understanding of DevSecOps, the software development lifecycle, release management, and deployment automation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of strong hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD.
• Proven experience developing complex CI/CD pipelines using GitLab YAML (.gitlab-ci.yml).
• Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, merge requests, and source-code management.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Bash/Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and automated application deployments.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure-as-code or automation tools.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with testing, code-quality, security-scanning, and artifact-management tools.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Good understanding of DevSecOps, SDLC, release management, and deployment automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
