About The Position

Davis Unlimited Information Technologies (DUIT) is seeking a qualified Senior GIS Programmer with 5 or more years of experience to join their IT team. The role involves application development and support for Baltimore County's Office of Information Technology's GIS Program and Office of Planning. Key responsibilities include assisting in the upgrade and development of an Agricultural Preservation Model and migrating a custom ArcMap AddIn (C#/Python) to an ArcGIS Pro AddIn. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, allowing up to 2 remote days per week (approximately 40% remote, 60% onsite) after onboarding and equipment issuance. Fully remote or out-of-state employment is not authorized.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
Minimum of three (3) years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API’s, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDK’s, and ArcSDE
Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python
Strong Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
Development of reports using SSRS, Power BI
Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts (Oracle, SQL Server preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Must pass a comprehensive security background check by the Baltimore County Police Department.

Nice To Haves

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field and five years’ experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, program analysis, or a closely related field.
