Senior GIS Analyst
About The Position
Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer at the Stennis Space Center, MS. This role combines technical GIS expertise with an understanding of Navy requirements and oceanographic operations. The Senior GIS Analyst will support bathymetric data processing efforts for the U.S. Navy. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in processing and analyzing maritime geospatial data, with specific expertise in bathymetric survey data, seafloor mapping, and maritime domain applications.
Requirements
- TS/SCI security clearance
- Work independently or as part of a team as needed.

Nice To Haves
- Extensive experience in processing and analyzing maritime geospatial data

Responsibilities
- Proficient in multi-sourced bathymetric data post-processing.
- Able to review high-resolution data for quality control and assurance procedures.
- Review and compile multiple datasets from geodatabases and mixed file formats.
- Provide consolidated visualizations and products as assigned by the Technical Lead.
- Evaluate and deconflict bathymetric/charted soundings when applicable, with supporting guidance from the Technical Lead.
