About The Position
GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) is a people-first fund administrator serving clients across the US, UK, and EU. The Senior Fund Accountant plays a key role in supporting strategic results by enhancing client value, supporting investors, and cultivating enduring partnerships while developing professionally and growing as a leader. The role performs treasury and accounting activities, supports quarterly reporting and financial statement preparation, responds to investor inquiries, and assists with fund capital activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee treasury functions, including bank reconciliations, disbursement processing, and preparation of detailed cash reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries in cloud-based, industry-specific accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain workpapers for fund products as part of the quarterly reporting cycle.
- Contribute to preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements and support timely, accurate reporting.
- Manage and respond to multiple ad hoc investor inquiries professionally and precisely.
- Assist with capital activity processes, including capital calls and distributions.
