About The Position
GP Fund Solutions (GPFS), a people-first fund administrator serving clients across the US, UK, and EU, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant. The role manages treasury activities, supports quarterly reporting and GAAP financial statement preparation, and handles fund transactions and investor inquiries. It also maintains and reviews SOC-1 internal control procedures and an internal client deliverable schedule, while coordinating with clients and teams on proposals and delivery timelines. The position offers a collaborative culture, training, career growth, and hybrid scheduling after a probation period.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage treasury functions, including reconciliations, cash reporting, and disbursements.
- Post journal entries and support quarterly reporting cycles.
- Assist with GAAP financial statement preparation.
- Handle capital calls, distributions, and investor inquiries.
- Collaborate with clients and teammates to deliver excellent service.
- Maintain and review SOC-1 internal control procedures.
- Maintain the internal client deliverable schedule weekly.
- Use expertise to guide teams and clients and provide informed proposals and timelines for deliverables.
